According to police, the Ghaziabad Crime Branch team killed Dharmendra alias Tiddi alias Bavaria, a criminal carrying a reward of ₹100,000, during an encounter. Dharmendra, a resident of Barshi village in Amroha, was killed in an encounter on the banks of a canal in Niwari area. During the encounter, three crime branch officers – Vineet, Amit and Himanshu – were also injured in the firing. The injured were immediately shifted to the hospital.

Please note that Ghaziabad police have also seized a pistol from the spot. Reports indicate that around 15 rounds of firing were fired from both sides. A reward of Rs 50,000 was announced for Dharmendra in Ghaziabad’s Niwari and Baghpat’s Khekra. He used to commit robberies regularly with his gang.
