Monday brought new hope and happiness for the disabled people who came to the public hearing with their problems. Understanding their need with sensitivity, District Magistrate Charcha Gaur provided them assistive devices on the spot. The availability of tricycle and motorized tricycle paved the way for the disabled people to move forward in the direction of self-reliance along with ease of transportation.
In the public hearing, the District Magistrate provided a tricycle to Munna Lal Soni, son of Vishwanath Soni, resident of village Ghuwas Khurd, Robertsganj, who is disabled in one leg. Happiness was clearly visible on his face after receiving the tricycle. This is expected to provide them a lot of convenience in daily work and transportation. The District Magistrate provided a motorized tricycle to Abhay Kesari, son of Ashok Kumar, resident of Ward No. 23, Municipal Council Robertsganj, who is 100 percent disabled in both legs. Getting a motorized tricycle will not only add convenience to their commute but will also increase their ability to move independently.
Both the beneficiaries expressed their gratitude to the district administration on receiving the assistive devices. For them, this assistance became not only a means of transportation, but also a means to make their daily life more comfortable and take steps towards self-reliance. District Magistrate Shri Charcharat Gaur said that it is the priority of the administration to listen seriously and sensitively to the problems of every person in the public hearing and to provide timely solutions to the eligible person. He directed the concerned officers to provide the benefits of welfare schemes of the government to the disabled and other needy eligible persons on priority basis.
