Andretti Formula E has appointed Campbell Hobson as its new Team Principal, with the Australian taking charge as the team prepares for the start of the GEN4 era . Hobson has been closely involved with Andretti for several years. He previously worked as Team Manager before becoming Sporting Director and has played a key role in the team's daily operations. Now, he will move into the top leadership role as Andretti prepares for a new phase in Formula E .

Roger Griffiths moves into advisory roleCampbell Hobson takes over from Roger Griffiths, who has led Andretti Formula E since its early years.
Griffiths will now move into a senior advisory position, where he will continue to support Andretti Formula E and the wider TWG Motorsports portfolio. His time as Team Principal produced 13 victories, 46 podium finishes and a Drivers’ World Championship with Jake Dennis.
“Leading this team from the beginning has been one of the great privileges of my career, and I’m incredibly proud of what we’ve built,” said Griffiths.
“After 12 seasons, this feels like the right time to pass the torch. Campbell has been a trusted part of our leadership for years and understands this organization at every level; he has earned this opportunity. I’m excited to support him while also contributing more broadly across Andretti and TWG Motorsports,” he said.
Campbell Hobson's appointment comes ahead of Formula E's move into the GEN4 era, which will bring a new generation of faster and more powerful cars.
Andretti will begin its next chapter under Hobson when Formula E returns for the 2026 Jeddah E-Prix on December 18 and 19. The race will open the 2026/27 season.
The two drivers Jake Dennis and Felipe Drugovich are currently getting their hands on the new GEN4 car amid countdown for the new season. Dennis finished second in the title race last season.
