On the death anniversary of former Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, former Governor of Rajasthan and Himachal Pradesh, Padma Vibhushan awardee, great leader of Ram Mandir movement Late Kalyan Singh, under the guidance of BJP District President Dilip Patel Dev, a tribute meeting was organized at BJP District Office Atal Bhawan. Flowers were offered by the workers on the portrait of revered Kalyan Singh. Two minutes silence was observed and prayers were offered for the peace of his soul.
After paying tribute, District General Secretary Baba Ram Shabd Yadav and Vimalendra Pratap Singh Monu said that the entire life of Rev. Kalyan Singh was dedicated to nationalism, Hindutva and social justice. He said that whenever there is talk of good governance in Uttar Pradesh, Kalyan Singh's name will be taken first. Said that while being the Chief Minister, Kalyan Singh made revolutionary changes in the field of education in the state, improved the education system by bringing the Duplication Ordinance. He did historic work for the upliftment of backward, Dalit and deprived classes. On 6 December 1992, during the Ram Mandir movement, he renounced power and resigned from the post of Chief Minister, which will always be remembered in history. Because of his sacrifice, the construction of a grand Ram temple in Ayodhya has become possible today.



On the said occasion, BJP District Vice President Pankaj Verma, District Media Incharge Balmiki Upadhyay, District Minister Shiv Pujan Rajbhar, District Office Minister Santosh Singh Bablu, BJP leader Nand Kumar Tiwari Rana, Backward Front District General Secretary Ramesh Yadav, Vivek Verma, Ankit Agrahari, Rahmatullah Qazi, Ashok Kannaujiya, Anil Upadhyay, Amit Yadav, Himanshu Raj, BJP officials and workers were present.
