Bihar Crime News: A sensational incident has come to light from Muzaffarpur district of Bihar, where a Kanwariya, who was going to Baba Garibnath Dham on the lines of Deoghar, was brutally shot dead. The incident took place near Gosain Tola of Paru police station area. After this audacious incident, there is a stir in the entire area and there is huge anger among the Kanwariyas and the local people. According to the information, Golu Kumar, son of Ravindra Kumar Singh, resident of Gosain Tola of Paru police station area, had gone out with a kanwad to offer water at Baba Garibnath Dham. He had just reached near Gosain Tola when suddenly two unknown criminals riding a bike arrived there. The criminals started firing rapidly targeting Golu.

After being shot, Golu fell down bleeding, while the criminals fled from the spot waving weapons. On reaching the hospital, the doctors declared him dead. There was panic on the spot after hearing the sound of firing. As soon as information about the incident was received, the police team immediately reached the spot and the injured youth was taken to Saraiya Primary Health Center for immediate treatment.

Fear of murder in old dispute: SSP Giving information about the case, Muzaffarpur SSP Kantesh Kumar Mishra said that the police has received preliminary information that there was a dispute over some issue in the morning, in which the youth was threatened. When he was going to Baba Garibnath Dham with water, the criminals committed this incident. The police are investigating the matter thoroughly and raids are being conducted to arrest the criminals. The SSP has assured that the culprits will be caught soon. The incident has raised questions over the security arrangements in the area, especially during the Shravani fair when a large number of devotees are on the roads. The police administration is now busy in intensifying patrolling in the area and identifying the suspects.
