Arjun Tendulkar produced another important performance for Arcs Andheri as they raced to an early lead over Maratha Royals at the Wankhede Stadium in the final of the Mumbai T20 2026.


 


The young left-arm pacer produced the biggest talking point of the game when he got Sachin Yadav caught lbw early in the innings. Fans were quick to comment on the coincidence of Arjun Tendulkar removing Sachin Yadav at the big stage in the final of the tournament.


 


The pacer trapped Sachin Yadav lbw of the very first ball of his second over to give his team the breakthrough they desired at an important stage of the match.


 


The dismissal immediately lit up social media as followers lauded the unusual moment that had just occurred featuring Sachin Tendulkar's son, who dismissed Sachin Yadav of the Mumbai T20 league.

The young bowler continued his good showing after picking the crucial wicket and maintained pressure on the opposition during the powerplay overs as well.


 


Bowling with the new ball he picked up 2 wickets for 18 runs in the opening spell as Arcs Andheri started off on a positive note to the all important final encounter. The left arm pacer had garnered much appreciation during the season for his knack of picking wickets at crucial stages and he proved to be no different at the title clash.

Breakthrough Season For Arjun Tendulkar

 


It has been a remarkable season for Arjun Tendulkar, especially after getting limited opportunities in the IPL 2026 and has proven his mettle in the domestic circuit.


 


The bowler has picked up 7 wickets in the tournament maintaining an economy of under 8 runs per over and his habit of picking wickets in the powerplay has been vital for the Arcs Andheri.


 


He has chipped in with the bat when needed as well with the all-rounder scoring 102 runs in the tournament at an amazing strike rate of 175.86 with his highest knock of 66 coming against Bandra Blasters which came off just 44 deliveries.


 


Apart from his contributions, players like Shivam Dube, Musheer Khan and Divyansh Saxena have also been brilliant to watch as they help the Arcs Andheri on the verge of lifting the trophy. His taking of Sachin Yadav may have been a talked about topic but this is still one of the best domestic seasons he has had so far.
