MPESB Nursing Officer Recruitment 2026: The Madhya Pradesh Professional Selection Board (MPESB) had recently issued a recruitment notification for the posts of Nursing Officer and Sister Tutor for the year 2026. Age Limit

The minimum age limit for applying to this recruitment is 18 years. However, the maximum age limit varies across different categories. For candidates belonging to the UR (Unreserved) and EWS (Economically Weaker Sections) categories, the maximum age limit is 40 years. For candidates belonging to OBC, SC, ST, PH (Physically Handicapped) categories, as well as female candidates, the maximum age limit is 45 years.

Educational Qualifications

For the Post of Nursing Officer:

• Must possess a 12th-grade qualification with PCM (Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics) or PCB (Physics, Chemistry, Biology) subjects.


• A 4-year B.Sc. Nursing course; OR


• A 2-year Post-Basic B.Sc. Nursing course combined with General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM).


• A minimum aggregate score of 45% is required (a 5% relaxation in marks is applicable for SC/ST/OBC candidates).

For the Post of Sister Tutor:

• A 10+2 qualification with PCB (Physics, Chemistry, Biology) subjects.


• A B.Sc. Nursing or Post-Basic B.Sc. Nursing degree.


• At least 1 year of professional experience in B.Sc. Nursing / Post-Basic B.Sc. Nursing.

What is the Salary?

Candidates selected for the Nursing Officer post will receive a salary of ₹28,700, in accordance with Level 7 of the pay matrix. Meanwhile, candidates selected for the Sister Tutor post will be offered a salary of ₹36,200 under Level 9.
