Weather Updates: The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a rain alert in many states of the country on Friday. This estimate has been made for 13 states and union territories of the country. At the same time, heat wave warning has also been issued for six states including Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh. Weather Agency says that there is a strong possibility of heavy rain at different places in the North-Eastern Indian states of Assam and Meghalaya today. Apart from this, warning of thunder and lightning has been issued in Arunachal Pradesh, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram and Tripura.

The Meteorological Department says that there is a possibility of hailstorm in Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh and Himachal Pradesh today. Apart from this, light rain with lightning may occur in Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh, Delhi and Rajasthan.

There is a strong possibility of heat wave in different parts of Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Maharashtra and Karnataka today. The weather will be very hot and humid over Andhra Pradesh, Coastal Karnataka, Gujarat, Kerala, Konkan and Goa, Odisha and Tamil Nadu. Let us tell you that yesterday the highest temperature in the country was recorded at 44.4°C in Banda, Uttar Pradesh. Temperatures remained between 40°C to 44°C in most parts of Vidarbha, Marathwada and Delhi. Talking about the minimum temperature, the lowest minimum temperature in the plains was recorded at 14.0°C in Sarsawa, Uttar Pradesh.
