Aldi is making a major change across all of its stores from next week. It is slashing its prices across its vegetables just in time for Easter, with customers able to get their roast dinner essentials for as little as 8p.

The supermarket confirmed it will be offering a further reduction of its Easter Super Six in stores, with the deal on between March 31 and April 5, meaning shoppers can pick up all of their Easter vegetables for less than 50p.

The offer includes huge savings with vegetable prices cut by as much as 94%.

The vegetables and prices are as follows:

• Nature's Pick British White Potatoes (8p, 2kg) - was £1.32, saving 94%




• Nature's Pick British Carrots (8p, 1kg) - was 69p, saving 88%




• Nature's Pick XL Garlic (8p, each) - was 39p, saving 79%




• Nature's Pick Brown Onions (8p, 1kg) - was 99p, saving 92%




• Nature's Pick British Swede (8p, each) - was 62p, saving 87%




• Nature's Pick British Parsnips (8p, 500g) - was 74p, saving 89%

Aldi is also extending its price cuts to other roast essentials to ensure households can enjoy a super cheap Easter spread. Customers can pocket a Whole Leg of Lamb for just £5.95 per kg, reduced from £6.19 from March 30.

The supermarket said that its commitment to British growers and its use of fixed-cost pricing ensure that customers have "the best savings without compromising on quality or fairness".

With its cuts across veggies and the lamb leg, a family of four could enjoy an Easter roast of lamb, potatoes, parsnips, carrots, mint sauce, and gravy for less than £8.

For those looking for more "luxurious" mains, customers can also purchase Aldi's Specially Selected Lamb Wellington (£16.99, 660g) and Specially Selected Beef Sirloin joint (£22.99 per kg).

Aldi's Cheapest Lamb and further Easter mains will be available in stores from March 30, while Aldi's Easter Super Six will be available in stores from March 31 to April 5.
