Elon Musk’s xAI has launched a new subscription tier for Grok, called SuperGrok Lite, priced at $10 per month. As part of the subscription plan, users will get faster access to base-level AI images and videos.

Videos generated through SuperGrok Lite will have a resolution of 480p and a maximum duration of six seconds.

xAI founder Elon Musk shared details of the new plan in a post on X on Wednesday.

The plan comes with limited usage, supporting only a few creations per day. It also offers chat sessions up to twice as long as those in the free tier.

Additionally, the plan includes access to an AI agent that enables agent-based functionality.

The development comes after xAI launched two business-focussed tiers for its AI assistant Grok in January. Grok Business costs $30 per seat per month.

In July last year, xAI introduced Grok 4 alongside a new AI subscription plan, SuperGrok Heavy, priced at $300 per month. Grok 4 Heavy was described as the company’s “multi-agent” version, offering enhanced performance.

The current subscription tier stacks up as an affordable plan for users to access features.
