Rising British singer Lola Young has booked a major new performance following her recent success at the Grammy Awards. The 25-year-old artist is set to headline the Elton John AIDS Foundation Academy Awards Viewing Party on March 15 in West Hollywood, according to People.

The star-studded charity event will be hosted by Elton John and David Furnish, spotlighting the foundation’s ongoing global efforts to eradicate HIV/AIDS. For the third consecutive year, Neil Patrick Harris and David Burtka will return as co-hosts for the evening.

The announcement comes just two days after Lola Young won the Grammy Award for Best Solo Performance for her breakthrough hit “Messy,” marking a major milestone in her career.

Reflecting on her involvement in the charity event, Young expressed gratitude for the support she has received from Elton John and David Furnish.

“It’s been incredible getting to know Elton and David, and I’m grateful for the support they’ve shown my music,” she said, as quoted by People.

She added that performing at the Academy Awards Viewing Party holds special significance, noting the importance of the foundation’s mission.

“Their work to support communities who need it most is so important to me, and I’m proud to be part of a night that helps make a meaningful impact,” the “Conceited” hitmaker said.
