The Chief Minister transferred an amount of Rs 2500 crore at the rate of Rs 10 thousand per beneficiary in the account of 25 lakh beneficial women

Bihar News: Chief Minister Nitish Kumar today transferred an amount of Rs 2500 crore per beneficiary to the account of 25 lakh beneficial women of ‘Mukhyamantri Mahila Employment Scheme’ from ‘Sankalp’ located on 1, Anne Marg. It is known that in the presence of Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, the ‘Mukhyamantri Mahila Employment Scheme’ was launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s tax lotus on 26 September 2025, on that day, 75 lakh women beneficiaries of the state were transferred to 7500 crore per beneficiary under the ‘Mukhyamantri Mahila Employment’ scheme through DBT. In today’s program, an amount of Rs 2500 crore was transferred by the Chief Minister to 25 lakh women beneficiaries at the rate of Rs 10 thousand per beneficiary through DBT. So far, an amount of Rs 10 thousand crore has been transferred to the account of a total of 1 crore beneficial women.

Addressing the program organized, the Chief Minister said that in today’s program, I heartily greet all the mothers and sisters associated with the video conference. It is very happy that today under the ‘Mukhyamantri Mahila Employment Scheme’, 25 lakh women are being sent assistance to the account of Rs 10,000. A few days ago, on 26 September 2025, the respected Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched the scheme in which 75 lakh women were given this assistance amount. In this way, first 75 lakh women have been given funds and today 25 lakh women are being given funds i.e. now a total of 1 crore women will get the benefit of this scheme. He said that the benefit of this scheme is to be given to a woman of every family of the state. Therefore, the dates have already been set to give assistance of Rs 10,000 to women who are left left. The next date is scheduled on 6 October 2025 and after that the amount will be sent to the bank account almost every week. Those whose employment will be done well will also be given additional assistance of up to 2 lakhs.

The Chief Minister said that the earlier government did not do any work. Earlier there was a very bad condition. When the NDA (JDU-BJP) government was formed on November 24, 2005, we have been engaged in the development of Bihar and the state is ruled by law. Rapid development is taking place in all areas, whether it is education, health, all work is being done. Emphasis has been laid on women empowerment from the beginning. In the year 2006, 50 percent reservation for women in Panchayati Raj Institutions and in the year 2007 was started with reservation for women. Since 2013, 35 percent reservation for women was given in police. Since the year 2016, women were given 35 percent reservation in government jobs. He said that earlier the number of self -help groups in Bihar was very less. In the year 2006, he formed a self -help group in the state by taking loans from the World Bank, which was named ‘Jeevika’. Now the number of self -help groups has increased to about 11 lakhs, in which the number of Jeevika Didis has increased to 1 crore 40 lakhs. Since the year 2024, self -help groups are being formed in urban areas, whose number has increased to 37 thousand, in which about 3 lakh 85 thousand livelihoods are there, formation is going on continuously.

The Chief Minister said that the Central Government is getting full support in the development of Bihar. Many development works are being done in the state and Bihar is moving fast. He said that I am confident that all your mothers and sisters will start good employment with this amount of 10 thousand rupees. This will make your family happy and the state and country will develop faster. I thank all the dignitaries present in this program. A short film based on ‘Mukhyamantri Mahila Employment Scheme’ was performed on the occasion. In the program, Mr. Lokesh Kumar Singh, Secretary, Department of Rural Development, welcomed the Chief Minister by offering a green plant.

In the program, 1 croreth beneficiary of ‘Mukhyamantri Mahila Employment Scheme’, Mrs. Anju Kumari, who is associated with the Kamal Jeevika Group, who is a resident of Ujiarpur block of Samastipur district, was connected through video conferencing. Mrs. Anju Kumari, while sharing her experience before the Chief Minister, said that there has been a widespread change in my life after joining the Jeevika Group. Along with connecting with livelihood, he took a loan of 20 thousand rupees and produced vegetables in two katha fields. Vegetable production benefited and repaid the loan with that money. After that, after taking a loan of 50 thousand rupees, he purchased milk and sold milk. After returning the loan, again took a loan of 50 thousand rupees from the livelihood group and started cultivating turmeric, which benefited me a lot. I will make a grocery shop with 10 thousand rupees under ‘Mukhyamantri Mahila Employment Scheme’. The change in the lives of us is the gift of Chief Minister Nitish Kumar.

Due to Chief Minister Nitish Kamar, we daughter and sisters are getting a lot of respect in the society. Under the Chief Minister Vriddhijan Pension Scheme, Rs 400 from Rs 400 has been charged by Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, which is getting Rs 1100 to my mother-in-law, that is, 2200 rupees are coming to my house from old age pension scheme. My mother-in-law is using it for themselves and they are quite happy. The Chief Minister has made 125 units of electricity free, which we are using properly. Our children are reading well. When we were married, there was no toilet, about which we have suffered a lot. Now if the toilet is constructed, the respect of our daughters and daughters has increased. Due to you every daughter is studying, moving forward. The daughter-in-law of the state is making its destiny. You have done a lot for the women of the state. If there was no livelihood group, then we would have been very difficult. You have carried all women ahead by making livelihood. All of us women thank you and thank you very much.
